Jim Moir, otherwise known as the comedian, actor, author and presenter Vic Reeves, returned to Cornwall Contemporary in the summer 0f 2023 for his second solo exhibition at the gallery titled ‘Comestibles Sir?’
Seen here in the gallery, with wife Nancy Sorrell, who appears alongside Jim in their Sky Arts tv programme ‘Painting Birds with Jim and Nancy’, this was Jim’s second solo show at CC and was an enormous success with nearly 40 paintings sold.
Here’s Jim with the largest painting in the show The Goldfinch which we sold to a collector whilst the exhibition was on.
The exhibition saw huge numbers of art collectors come to the gallery to see the show and there were numerous rave reviews and interviews on BBC London, BBC Westcountry and ITV News.
