Emma McClure
Emma McClure was born in London and grew up in Oxfordshire and Cornwall. She studied at Falmouth School of Art, Winchester School of Art (BA Hons Fine Art) and Chelsea School of Art (MA Painting), graduating in 1985. Emma shows regularly in London and with Cornwall Contemporary and her paintings are in private collections in the UK, Hong Kong, USA and across Europe. Emma’s work has been reproduced on greetings cards by Cannsdown Press, Woodmansterne and the Art Group. Emma lives and works in Cornwall where the landscape and the artistic tradition of the area is a continual source of inspiration, in particular the artists associated with St Ives. Her subject matter is predominantly concerned with landscape, still life and animals, and are often imbued with a gentleness and beautiful sense of colour. Her mother is the renowned Cornish painter Daphne McClure. Solo Exhibitions:
