"The natural world acts as an enduring source of inspiration for me, this exhibition explores the magnetic draw of nature, it’s presence, the immersive experience. Nature as muse. I am inspired by the place where I live and work, one of great beauty, Cornwall. I use a fantastic range of colours in my paintings because I want to explore colour, I want my paintings to be vibrant and bright. I use colour emotionally, I feel the colour I need to use to convey a scene. My paintings try to recreate a landscape and botanical world rich in sensuous surfaces, intense with  colour and intricate patterns."
