The new Daphne McClure book, written by Cornwall Contemporary Director, Sarah Brittain-Mansbridge, with a beautiful foreword by Daphne’s daughter Emma McClure was published in September 2020 to coincide with the solo exhibition of Daphne’s paintings.
Published by Sansom and Company publishers, the book was a long time in the making. Daphne told Sarah Brittain-Mansbridge in 2012 that she would like to record her memories and she subsequently sat with her on many occasions as she spoke about her life, her inspirations, her family and of her love for Cornwall.
‘A Cornish Perspective’ is the result and the book was launched on 17th October, when the very special solo exhibition of Daphne’s paintings was launched.
The book is available to purchase through Cornwall Contemporary for £24 inc p&p by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
