Dorset born Simon Stooks studied at Falmouth College of Art and like many before and after him, opted to stay in the town and paint full time. He has recently moved to Kent but continues to visit his Falmouth studio monthly, drawn back to the town and countryside that continues to inspire him. His work has been exhibited at The Mall Gallery in London, Chancery Lane in London, The Mayfield Gallery Bournemouth and extensively throughout Cornwall including The Great Atlantic Galleries.
