Rachael Mia Allen

Born near Truro in 1974 Rachael Mia Allen trained at Falmouth School of Art followed by Staffordshire University. Growing up in Cornwall has fuelled her inspiration and passion for the Cornish landscape which is self-evident in her paintings.
She has taken part in numerous mixed exhibitions and solo shows over the last eight years and the majority of her exhibitions sell out thanks to an ever increasing loyal fan base of her work.
Working in a unique technique that she herself has evolved, Rachael paints using oil inks. Her subject matter is predominately the North Coast near her home and also Penwith where the shapes of the landscape fall naturally into cliff, sand and sea. These elements are carefully balanced & composed to infuse her paintings with a great sense of space and sensitivity to the nature of the place.
Rachael paints the landscape which she holds an intense love and passion for and it is her aim to share this commitment for painting and for Cornwall.
