Emma McClure was born in 1962 and educated at Falmouth School of Art before moving on to a BA Honors Degree in Painting at Winchester School of Art. In 1985 she completed her MA at Chelsea School of Art in London.

Emma has participated in many exhibitions throughout the country and has shown at a number of prominent private galleries including Thompsons Gallery, Piers Feetham Gallery and at Cadogen, London where she regularly has solo exhibitions.

Emma Currently lives in London with frequent trips to West Cornwall to see family (her mother is the artist Daphne McClure) and also to paint. She incorporates the impressions, images and motifs of her subjects into spacious and beautifully composed, serene scenes which have become highly sought after and much collected.
