Ceramics & Jewellery

We carefully curate an ever changing mix of studio ceramics and handmade jewellery at Cornwall Contemporary. Our jewellery designer-makers include Kaz Robertson – an award winning jeweller who works in resin, Fay Page who makes silver jewellery based on the shells that wash up on the beaches of her home on The Isles of Scilly, Laura Baxter’s silver, gold and formica unique pieces and the individual silver & enamel pieces by all-round talented maker Nancy Pickard. We are also delighted to offer contemporary collections of handmade jewellery by Japanese jeweller Mizuki Takahashi.

Our ceramics include one off handmade bowls by Charlotte Jones, whose pieces are all made with Cornish clay and are directly inspired by the Cornish landscape, we also show porcelain by Rebecca Harvey and beautiful tableware by Samme Charlesworth. Jane Muir’s quirky figurative sculptures can always be found in the gallery as are Sarah Dunstan‘s beautiful slabware plates, jugs, ‘Treasure’ boxes and ‘Bottle’ vases which have featured on the cover of American magazine ‘Pottery Making Illustrated’. We are also delighted to stock a range of studioware pieces by Leach Pottery – founded in 1920 by Bernard Leach and which has a worldwide reputation for excellence.
